Business communications on climate

Working with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Overview

di:ga worked with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership from 2011-2015, and again in 2017. We started out supporting the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) on Climate Change, achieving global media coverage for their 2ºC Challenge Communiqué in 2011, the Carbon Price Communiqué in 2012, and the Trillion Tonne Communiqué in 2013.

Our work with the other Business Platforms, including the Natural Capital Leaders Platform, ClimateWise, and the Investment Leaders Group began in 2012. We provided ongoing, ad-hoc support and advice, as well as coordinating the public launches of specific products. We worked closely with corporate members including Kingfisher, BT, Alstom, Anglian Water, Unilever, Allianz, Aviva, and Swiss Re.

In 2017, we got back involved with the CLG, helping them think through a new media strategy and set of messages - in part in response to Brexit -, promoting reports on the circular economy and renewables to the European media, raising the profile of the CLG’s new Director, and advising on core communications processes and website redesign.
