di:ga worked with the anti-conflict non-governmental organisation Saferworld to review their approach to campaiging and communicating. We helped them think through their role and their voice in the conflict prevention debate, and how to bring more attention to the work they do on the ground as well as their research and policy.
We also ran a series of trainings with Saferworld staff on the basics of strategic communication and media work, as well as practical sessions on broadcast interview techniques. In the process, we challenged them to think hard about the language they use to communicate their work: how to make it more accessible and compelling to drive change.
